Dan Goldstein–Your Construction & Real Estate Dispute Advocate
I’ve maintained an exclusive focus on construction and real estate disputes of all sizes from the day I started practicing law in 2001. My approach is to thoroughly evaluate each case, prepare a rock-solid case and strategy in favor of my clients, and maximize the odds of maximum recovery–whether it’s through arbitration, settlement, or trial. As an trial lawyer, I leverage my 15+ years of experience to build a strategy to move things along quickly as possible to minimize your expense.
I’ve been involved in more than 40 trials and arbitrations and have argued several cases before the Oregon Supreme Court for a diverse array of wonderful people.
Prior to founding GoldsteinLaw, I served as special counsel at Ball Janik, LLP, specializing in trial work and appellate argument in construction and real estate disputes.
Trial and Appellate Experience
I have successfully tried a variety of cases to juries, judges, and arbitrators, including several verdicts exceeding one million dollars. My trial and arbitration experience covers a diverse array of subjects such as fraud, non-payment, defect, mold, breach of contract, non-disclosure, adverse possession, and insurance coverage. I have also successfully negotiated several multi-million dollar settlements in complex matters.
In addition, I’ve successfully briefed and argued several cases before the Oregon Court of Appeals related to complex construction issues.

Personal
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy playing racquetball, wakeboarding, and playing with my kids. I might have my nose buried in George R.R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire series, and I play trumpet in local bands such as Stump City Soul and Mike Curtis.
